“gay best friend” stereotypes are maybe one of the things that perpetuates homophobia the most
gay people are literally NO DIFFERENT THAN STRAIGHT PEOPLE EXCEPT THEY LIKE THE SAME GENDER
THAT’S IT
THAT IS IT AND IF THEY WERE YOUR BEST FRIEND IT SHOULDNT REALLY MATTER IF THEY’RE GAY OR STRAIGHT OR WHATEVER ELSE
singling someone out and categorizing them by their sexuality is what hurts the gay rights movement
stop it
I need feminism because I am 20 years old and have been sexually active for a year. In that year, I’ve had 3 partners. Whenever I tell my friends about a new partner of mine, they say, “Oooh you need to be careful! You don’t want to hurt yourself emotionally or get a bad reputation!” Whereas when…
Men Can Stop Rape’s new College Bystander Intervention campaign.

This might be my new favourite thing. Of all the things, this is my favourite.
If you’ve heard of an artist called Tom Milsom, he’s one of my favourites, and he just released a track called ‘Baltimore’ which I really liked a lot and kinda has a similar vibe to this, but I think this surpasses it.
I recorded a new song
it’s called Baltimore
was gonna save it for something but fuck it, leaking it cause yolo
Turbulent - Shirin Neshat
This is absolutely magnificent. Absolutely magnificent.
“Two singers (Shoja Azari playing the role of the male and Iranian Vocalist and composer Sussan Deyhim as the female) create a powerful musical metaphor for the complexity of gender roles and cultural power within the framework of ancient Persian music and poetry.”
Food for thought: it is illegal for Iranian women to sing in public
